Now (many years later), he is thrilled to be involved in ELAN as co-chair. Brian currently works as a teacher in Simcoe-Muskoka Catholic District School Board after spending a number of years in roles outside the classroom. These roles included working to support adolescent literacy learning as a Provincial Literacy Lead and supporting professional learning related to assessment, curriculum and literacy in his school board as a Secondary Curriculum Consultant. In addition to being in the classroom, he continues to work as a professional learning facilitator and coach with educators across Ontario.
